Primary Areas of Practice
Chandra is a born and raised rural Alberta girl originating from the farming community of Hines Creek, north of Grande Prairie. Chandra holds a law degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from Augustana University College in Camrose. Chandra and her husband, Rob Flett, have 3 children, Lelend, Landan and Alyssa.
After graduating from law school in 2005 and becoming a new mother, Chandra articled in Fort McMurray and has continued practicing in our community since that time. She became one of the 3 founding partners of Flett Manning Moore in December 2012.
Chandra is presently the Co-President of the Fort McMurray Bar Association and coordinator for the annual Fort McMurray Law Day - Alberta activities in partnership with the Canadian Bar Association. Chandra is Chair of the Board of Directors for Some Other Solutions, which offers various crisis intervention and prevention programs throughout Fort McMurray. She is also the Vice- Chair for the Board of Directors for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank. Until recently, Chandra was also a member of the Assessment Review Board for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, which is a quasi-judicial tribunal who hears and determines property assessment appeals.
When not tied up with volunteer commitments or her children’s extracurricular activities, Chandra enjoys a great passion for politics, garage sale Saturdays, yoga at Higher Health and Oranj Fitness, golf and hosting weekend barbecues (acting as hostess as it is her husband who is the cook in the family).
